Fernando Chamarelli is a graphic designer, illustrator, and visual artist. He started his career drawing cartoons, caricatures, and realistic portraits and later became involved with street art and tattooing. By merging these different mediums and aesthetics, Chamarelli creates a very distinctive style. He lives in Brazil, a country of multicultural contrasts, and is greatly affected by the environment, especially Brazilian popular culture and pre-Colombian indigenous art. These paintings include mosaics, geometric elements, organic forms, and harmonic lines connecting symbols, legends, philosophies, religions and customs of ancient and modern civilizations.
